The Frascati Center is one of the major national and international research centers dedicated to the study and development in the fields of nuclear fusion, laser sources and particle accelerators. It represents a significant reality of cultural and social attraction for the surrounding area.

It is located about 2 km downstream from Frascati and 20 km from Rome in a research area, south-east Rome and Monteporzio, characterized by the establishment of other important institutes with which it actively collaborates also in scientific dissemination and education.

Over the years, the Center has also intensified its technology transfer activity towards the industrial world aimed at increasing the competitiveness of the Italian economic system within a framework of sustainable development.

Frascati has two Railway Stations that are on two different train routes, both starting from “Roma Termini” railway station.

Taxi (only licensed white cabs are recommended) (55 km, around € 70).

Public transportation: Take the train “Leonardo Express”. It will arrive at Roma Termini train station (35 minutes, € 14).

Bus: Several private Bus companies are available from Fiumicino Airport to reach Rome.

Bus+Train: Take the bus “Atral” that arrives at Ciampino train station. At the train station take:
Train Ciampino-Frascati (15 minutes, €1.10)

Train: Roma Termini-Frascati Central station (30 minutes, € 2,10). The train stops in: Capannelle-Ciampino-Frascati. The Research center is 2.2 Km away from the downtown of Frascati (Taxi are available in Frascati). The Hotel has its own transport service Train Station – Hotel.

Taxi (30 Km, ~ € 70,00).

Train: Roma Termini-Cassino/Frosinone: get off at the "Tor Vergata" train station, (some trains don’t stop in Tor Vergata train station thus, check it in advance from Trenitalia website: https://www.trenitalia.com/) (20 minutes, € 1.5).
The ENEA entrance is 500 m away from the station.
